About 2-3 inches wide, the Baby Red or "Tempo" artichoke has a nutty flavor and a deep red/purple color that does not fade with cooking. These beautiful 'chokes are grown in Santa Barbara county’s Lompoc Valley; known for their amazing wines, flowers, and of course, artichokes! We recommend grilling them Santa Maria-style with a little bit of olive oil and LOCAL Susie Q seasoning!
