Baby Bok Choy
Baby bok choy is a versatile vegetable; it may be stir-fried, steamed, braised, or added to soups. In Santa Maria we prefer to BBQ our baby bok choy! Filet the baby bok choy down the center so you have 2 halves, place on the grill and lightly baste with olive oil (or butter) and sprinkle a little of the special “Santa Maria Style” seasoning salt*, we recommend Susie Q’s brand. Cook until the core is slightly golden and the dark outer leaves have a crisp (not burnt!) texture. Enjoy as a delicious side dish any time of the year!
